Unique provides complete automation integration services from concept through design and build. Automation projects range from stand alone machines to complete systems for the automated assembly and testing of many different customer components. We work with the customer and OEM suppliers to integrate automation technology into a logical system. Our Access to one of the premier machine shops on the East coast means we can produce nearly all of the machined parts in-house. This allows us to cut our time and costs significantly. Experienced assembly technicians and electricians support engineering to build and run-off entire systems at our North Carolina facility.

Engineering projects have included:   

• Complete assembly machines including controls and programming
• Special test machines such as leak testers or vision based inspection systems
• Reverse engineering of OEM machine components
• Prototype development
• Special gages, jigs and fixtures

Unique Tool uses SolidWorks CAD software for design, Cimatron CAM software for milling machine programming, Esprit CAM software for turning and EDM machine programming, and Okuma ADMAC for mill / turn programming.
